This jacket, known as a Souvenir Jacket or Vietnam Jumper, was manufactured during the Vietnam War era in many places at the time, including the capital of South Vietnam, Saigon, souvenir stores around U.S. military bases, and Taylor in Okinawa. Based on parts and other information, it is assumed that this jacket was manufactured during the war. The design is a common one, and the embroidery has a very atmospheric hand-waving embroidery design. The poncho liner is made of actual U.S. military material, and white satin fabric is used for the lining. The poncho liner itself has frayed stitching and underarms. It is damaged and needs to be repaired. There is a black stain on the back of the neck. It is in very old condition, the buttons on the sleeves are present, but the open zipper is coming off at the bottom. It appears to have been worn quite a bit or kept in stock for some time. The color of the lining is white and the stains are visible. We assume that the item was actually manufactured in Vietnam, so we think it would be a great daily fashion item. Because it is a used item, returns are not possible. Please understand.
