This is a 1st Model (early type) Jungle Fatigue Jacket from the 1964 fiscal year. This is a real item.

The U.S. Air Force rank and qualification insignia are directly embroidered and there are pen pockets on both arms that were added with different fabric. The left side has a stain that looks like pen ink. The name tape is locally made and embroidered, and there is a locally made Vietnamese hand embroidered patch of F-19 III Corps ALO/FAC Pilot sewn on the chest. The pocket to which the patch is attached appears to have been removed at the bottom and re-sewn with the same thread as the patch. The name tape, branch tape, and additional pockets are all sewn with the same thread, so it is assumed that the item was sewn by a tailor at the same time. Early Fatigue has become scarce in recent years, but this is one of the rarest of them all. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand that this is a used item and cannot be returned.
