This is a locally made B-15 flight jacket used by the CBI (China Burma India Theater) in the 1940s. It differs in some details from the B-15 issued to the U.S. military.

The B-15, one of the earliest high-altitude flight jackets, was used in the 1940s by the CBI, a unit of American soldiers deployed to China, India, and Burma that included ground crews as well as bombers and fighter pilots. This is a flight jacket, so it is assumed that it was worn by aircrew at that time.

The jacket was locally made and differs in some details from the U.S. military issue. Squadron patches and name patches are sewn on. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
