This is a pile liner for the M51 Field Parka, stamped 1956. This liner features a towel-like fabric and is different from the liners used on M65 jackets. Basically, it is made with the nylon side inside so that it can be worn smoothly when the M51 Field Parka is worn. Of course, the pile liner side can be lined and worn as a stand-alone liner as well; unlike the liner used in the M65 Parka, this liner is heavier. Overall condition is good and relatively clean. There is a slight discoloration on the nylon side due to sunburn. You can still enjoy this liner. This is a used item and cannot be returned. This size fits your M size M51 hoodie just fine.
