This item is temporary out of stock

We’ve just received a wonderful jungle fatigues jacket that vividly captures the authentic atmosphere of the Vietnam War era.

This is a U.S. Army 3rd Model Jungle Fatigue Jacket from the 1967 contract. Thesize is MEDIUM-REGULAR.

What you’ll want to pay special attention to are the patches, which remain exactly as they were back then, and the incredible character developed through years of wear.

On the chest are a “MARTIN” name tape and a “U.S. ARMY” tape. The paratrooper insignia and the Supply Division patch, along with the patch marks, indicate that this jacket belonged to a soldier in the 101st Airborne Division. The fact that these unit insignia remain exactly as they were back then makes this a truly captivating piece.

Furthermore, this particular jacket retains all of its original patches from that era.

Unlike restored pieces where patches were added later, its great value lies in the fact that you can appreciate it exactly as it was when a soldier actually wore it.

The non-ripstop cotton poplin fabric, unique to the 3rd Model, is also not to be missed.

Unlike the ripstop fabric adopted in the later 4th Model, it features a smooth texture without a fine grid pattern. The soft texture and unique fading that develop with wear are the distinctive charms of jungle fatigues from this era.

This piece also shows clear signs of wear throughout, with natural wear marks appearing on the pockets and seams. Stains and color changes are visible on the sleeves and back, giving it a look that conveys the conditions under which it was used at the time.

While pristine, like-new pieces have their own appeal, isn’t the atmosphere created solely by actual wear the true essence of vintage military gear?

It comes in a popular, easy-to-wear size and has a silhouette that blends seamlessly with modern fashion.

A 3rd Model from the 1967 contract, featuring the original patch from that era and an authentic, well-worn look.

This is more than just a piece of vintage clothing; it’s a garment that lets you feel the era of the Vietnam War and the traces of the American soldier who served there.

This is a used item that was actually worn during that era.

It shows overall signs of wear, with fading and stains visible. In particular, color changes and stains resulting from use can be seen on the sleeves and back.

All the patches remain as they were from that era, and the fact that it has not been restored in later years is a major part of its appeal.
