This is a 1970 4th Model VNMC Tiger Stripe shirt. The sleeves and body are a rare two-tone combination. There are several VNMC patterns, and the colors have changed depending on the era, and there are many unique patterns different from those made in Japan or Thailand. Tiger stripes are popular as a special category because they are locally made in Vietnam. The way of procurement varies, and there are various versions because they are procured not only from a certain factory but also from tailors in the city.
Unfortunately, the top front button is missing. The shirt is a standard ARVN cut, with epaulettes, shoulder pads, and elbow pads sewn on. The color is greenish and the contrast between the body and sleeves is beautifully finished. The size is A-5, which is relatively large compared to most of the smaller sizes. The fabric is thin and many of them have been torn or repaired, but this one is clean and has no noticeable repairs. It is still in good condition and can be enjoyed.
