This is an actual release of the M-65 Fishtail Parka, a masterpiece outerwear of the U.S. Army. This item is estimated to have been contracted in 1978 and is a MEDIUM-REGULAR size, sold as a shell only without liner or hood.

The M-65 Parka, famous as a model for extreme cold weather, was officially adopted in 1965 as the successor to the M-51, and was a standard military outerwear used widely from the late Vietnam War to the Cold War era. It is characterized by its modular construction that allows it to be used in extremely cold climates by attaching a liner inside and adding a hood, and is full of details that have greatly influenced the modern fashion scene, such as the ratio-wing front, drawcord, and fishtail specifications.

This item is in overall quite usable condition, and retains the realistic atmosphere typical of military wear. The name tape on the chest has been removed, and the overall whitish faded vintage look is appealing, giving it a distinct presence even in the same size and age group.

This is a bold piece of clothing that reminds us of actual warfare use. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please note that this is a used item and cannot be returned.
