We have just received a shell-only model of the M-65 Parka (a.k.a. Fishtail Parka ), an iconic masterpiece of the U.S. military. This is a complete, actual product made by CARBON HILL MFG. CO., INC. under contract in 1983, and the contract number DLA100-83-C-0441 is firmly marked on the tag.

The material is a blend shell of 80% cotton and 20% nylon, making it lightweight yet durable and windproof. The front has a double structure of zipper and buttons, waist and hem with drawcord, and buttons to attach a hood liner, etc. The high degree of perfection as military equipment shines through.

The charm of this item is its condition. The sense of use is extremely little, and it is a very high quality item that is almost unused. There are some stains on the collar. There are stains due to storage conditions.
