The 6C Desert Camouflage features a highly distinctive design: fine black and white specks arranged over a large camouflage pattern with a base of tan and brown. Known by the nickname “Chocolate Chip” due to its appearance, this camouflage left a particularly strong impression of U.S. military personnel during the Gulf War of 1990–91.

According to the label, this item is DLA100-90-C-0320, from the 1990 contract. It was manufactured by EDCAR INDUSTRIES, INC., and the fabric is 50% NYLON / 50% COTTON. This is truly a piece procured just before the Gulf War.

The front features four large, flap-covered pockets, while the sleeves are reinforced with fabric and the cuffs are equipped with adjustment buttons. It is packed with details characteristic of a combat jacket designed for practicality—a philosophy carried forward into later BDU models.

It comes in the highly sought-after MEDIUM-SHORT size.
