This is a precise reproduction of the gold tiger stripe design, believed to have been manufactured around 1968–1969. From the fabric used for the reissue to the sewing, we have analyzed every aspect of the original and recreated it in Japan, just as it was back then. This is the first precise reproduction in the MILITARIA 1911 series. It’s our first release since the 2023 re-release.

We took precise measurements from the original US-cut trousers and meticulously recreated every detail, down to the size and depth of the pockets. These are standard US-cut trousers featuring a zipper.The relatively slim silhouette characteristic of Gold Tiger has also been precisely recreated. The inseam is set slightly longer so that the trousers can be worn rolled up. Instead of a HAMA zipper, we’ve used a YKK zipper of the same size to distinguish it from the original. The distinctive size tag is also omitted. This is the ultimate reproduction, recreating the texture of the fabric and the quality of the stitching as closely as possible to the original.

Like the original, our fabric will fade and gradually turn yellow over time. You may not notice it immediately, but with repeated use, washing, and exposure to sunlight, the fabric will age naturally. While the fabric changes with age, this is not a product defect. We inspect all items, but in the unlikely event of a defect, we will verify the issue and offer an exchange for an identical item or a refund.

MADE IN JAPAN

*The product photos show the first batch released in 2022. The fabric and stitching quality are equivalent. Please note that there may be slight variations in the placement of the camouflage pattern. You cannot select the specific placement of the camouflage pattern.

*Our cotton fabric shrinks. It shrinks 1% in width and 6% in length. While the length will shrink, it will not shrink to the point where the garment becomes difficult to wear. If you are concerned, gently stretching the fabric while it is wet will help minimize shrinkage.
