The Tiger Stripe camouflage continued to be used throughout Southeast Asia even after the end of the Vietnam War. This product is a military-issue item made in Thailand and used by the Thai military and American soldiers stationed in the country, and is a pattern that appears to have been copied based on the Japanese-made "Silver Tiger" pattern. The coloring is characterized by reddish brown and deep green, and is optimized for the jungle environment of Thailand.
The item was probably manufactured locally in the mid-1970s, and is highly likely to have been an actual field uniform, as an additional pen pocket has been sewn onto the right shoulder and the sleeves have been converted to short sleeves by the soldier himself. The cotton twill fabric is thick yet soft, and the camo can be seen through the reverse side, making it a very high quality civilian item of the time. There is one missing button on the left chest pocket. The power of the pattern and the vividness of the color is a finish that allows you to fully enjoy the charm of the tiger stripes. Because it is a used item, it is not returnable. Please understand.
