This is an actual Lizard camouflage jacket used by the French Army in the Indochina War of the 1950s. There are multiple types known to exist, and this jacket is a pattern called TAP 47/54. It is a very rare camouflage garment. It is in almost unused condition with the overall color remaining. In the top photo it looks like the shoulder epaulettes are missing, but they are there. All pockets and other pockets have metal snap buttons. None are missing and can be removed. The sleeves have two small buttons that can be adjusted for size. Both buttons are still present. Although there are some stains due to age, it is in clean condition and can still be enjoyed. The French army's lizard camouflage is a very valuable camouflage in the postwar period, which was later copied locally in South Vietnam and eventually led to the tiger stripe. If you are looking for one, don't miss it. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
