This is a 4th Model Jungle Fatigue Jacket made in 1968. The size tag is SMALL-SHORT, a popular size.
The 4th Model was the most widely produced jungle fatigues jacket in 1968, when the Vietnam War was in full swing and the number of U.S. troops deployed increased. Many parts of the 1st and 2nd models were omitted to facilitate mass production, and this lot was able to produce more jackets.
The overall color of this item has faded, giving the impression that the color has been slightly removed. There are patch marks on the tapes and pockets. The AIRBONE tab remains on the left shoulder. The marks indicate that the 101st Airborne Division patch was sewn on. There are several stains, scattered throughout. There are also stains on the back and sleeves. Needs to be cleaned. Relatively clean condition. Still in good condition to be enjoyed. It is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
