This is a replica jacket based on the real ERDL jacket with custom specifications such as additional pockets and a collar cut off to make it easier to wear over a jacket or shirt, as was done by MACV SOG personnel who were active during the Vietnam War. It has two additional pockets on each arm and two pockets on the lower back, and the collar has been cut off. It is in good condition with scratches in places and a lot of fading and scuffs. Both rear pockets are missing buttons. It is not in good condition, but I think it is still in good condition for games and reenactments, as well as for everyday use. Although this is a replica based on a real item, the fabric and parts are real, so we will treat it in the real category, but it is not a custom made by a soldier during the war, but only a reproduction.
