The Tiger Stripe shirt is said to have appeared in the latter half of the Vietnam War and is known as a classic pattern. In fact, the pattern is close to that of the Gold Tiger and shares several patterns. It is estimated to have appeared around the same time as the Tiger Stripe, probably around 1967-68.

Overall, the shirt is in good condition with some signs of use and fading, but the missing buttons are clean and without any scratches. There is a small rust-like stain on the front left shoulder. The black stripes that remain are also common with Gold Tiger, and it is thought that they have gradually faded with continued wear, although originally the green and brown colors were also strong.
