This is a French military type airborne jacket that was probably made using US military frogskin camouflage shelter half fabric from WWII and other lots. It was probably made to replicate the French military jackets of frogskin fabric that existed at the time of the Indochina War. It is a good replica using real fabric and real parts, but it is not from the 1950s, when the Indochina War took place. This jacket is not from the Indochina War of the 1950's. It is a fashion item or a reproduction. The fabric is sturdy and the jacket is good.
